CNC started as a family business in the late 1980's by Charlene's Dad, Louis, due to his passion for salmon trout. He and her Mum, Lena, had formed a firm friendship with a few of their favourite restauranteurs. Thus even though they were retired, he sourced the finest quality salmon trout from Three Streams Smokehouse and encouraged their restaurant friends to add this delicacy to their menus.
In 1991 Charlene joined what was briskly becoming a full time venture, supported by Lena's expert bookkeeping skills. An expanding range of products for restaurants, hotels and caterers developed.

Today we supply our range to home caterers, 5 star hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, corporates and home users.
We have forged links with reputable independent producers who have built up their businesses through hard work and passion for exceptional quality. We regularly visit their operations and have ongoing product training from them. We are proud of the years of association and reciprocal loyalty with each of our key producers.
