I do hope everyone has had a happy January and that we will all be looking forward to an easier year.
The local trout farmers have completed their annual harvest. Imported trout has been secured and been cleared by NRCS( National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications ).
Please be aware of the switch to imported trout. The colour and texture will differ from local trout and is generally more oily.
We will be receiving fresh trout throughout the off season, but there will be interruptions in the harvest and so we cannot commit to fresh fish at any given time with any degree of certainty. The local harvest season should commence at around middle to end of August ,as usual.
We will keep you updated as we go along;.
We have been inundated this past year with our freshly smoked trout fillets, both hot and cold and sales of fresh trout. If you want to be kept informed as to when fresh trout comes in, please email Claire at ordersclaire@cncproducts.co.za
