Seed & Nut Energy Bars
1/2 cup CNC sesame seeds (Purchase here)
1/2 cup CNC pumpkin seeds (Purchase here)
1/4 cup CNC almonds (Purchase here)
1/4 cup CNC oats (Purchase here)
1/4 cup CNC sunflower seeds (Purchase here)
3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons CNC honey (Purchase here)
Dry skillet and small sauce pan
Toast sesame seeds in a hot, dry skillet on the stove, and added in the sunflower seeds for good measure.
Once the seeds are toasted, cook the honey and brown sugar together in a small saucepan until it bubbled.
Add the rest of the nuts and seeds (including the ones I’d toasted on the stove top) to the sugary goo, and give everything a good mix.
Then pour the contents out onto the oiled wax paper, cover it with a second piece of oiled wax paper and roll it down to about a half inch thick.
Mould it into a rectangle, and sliced it up before it completely hardens.
